David Stewart Barker

David Stewart Barker, 66, of Wallingford, passed away on May 22, 2022 at Midstate Medical Center.  Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Wallace, Jr. and Helen (Newsome) Barker.

David was born and raised in Middletown graduating Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1974.  He received an Associate’s Degree from Middlesex Community College.  David was an artist and loved to paint.  He also loved ceramics, planting flowers, animals and having small pets.

David is survived by three sisters, Laurie DiNuzzo (Charles) of Meriden, Cindy Mahoney (John) of Waterford and Heidi Bica (Leonard) of Durham; three nieces; a nephew and three great nieces.
