Craig Stephenson Obituary

Craig Lamar Stephenson was called to home unexpectedly on July 10, 2020, at the age of 58 in Long Beach, CA.
Craig is survived by his parents, John Paul Stephenson and Nannette Bonner Stephenson, his sister Angela Elder Brown, his daughters Leisha, Kayla, Miranda & Myia Stephenson, and his three grandsons, Jamelle Eaton Jr, Solomon Baymon Jr & Paris D. McDougald Jr.
Craig was born in Hartford, CT where he graduated from Bloomfield High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He moved to Las Vegas, NV later in life and finally settled down in Los Angeles, CA.
Craig had a passion for jazz music, reading the news, watching & playing basketball, and enjoying a burger, cheesesteak, or ribs on one of his cheat days. He was focused on eating healthy and you could always find him researching green smoothie recipes and natural supplements. He was a man of impeccable style and grace, and was known as a class act who was always dressed to a T. He loved catching up with family members over the phone and always verbalized how much he loved everyone.
Craig was a devoted father and grandfather. His daughters and grandsons were the most important part of his life. His love for his family was unconditional and he leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who remember him as having a heart of gold.
