Craig DeMar Haynes, Sr.

Craig D. Haynes, Sr. was born January the 5, 1960 in Eufaula, Alabama to parents Marvelene Haynes & Jessie Ricks. At the age of 7 Craig moved to Middletown, CT where he became a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. As a youth he joined the choir, attended & graduated from Middletown High School. Later joining the US Army. Because of Craig's broad smile & knowledge of words, he gained the love of many families. Mother Elsie Davis, the Graigs & the Turners.

Along with his parents, Craig is survived by his two children. Evelyn & Emmanuel Miller. He is also survived by his three siblings, Michelle & Kent Pope of Middletown, CT & Gary Jackson of Fort Benning, GA. His special Uncle Charlie (Sonny) Hill. His beloved uncles & aunts, Ezzard (Charles) Haynes (Mary Haynes), James (Bobby) Haynes, Curtis Haynes (Anna Haynes), Violet Haynes,Dorothy(Sally) Haynes, and many caring & praying relatives. Craig was proceeded by his late son Craig (C.J.) Haynes Jr. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 12th at 11:00 am at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 346 Butternut Street, Middletown.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
