Charles Chasser, 86, a lifelong resident of Cromwell, passed away peacefully. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine Margerelli Chasser.
Born and raised along the Connecticut River, Charles spent his youth enjoying the water and the simple pleasures of small-town life. He especially loved spending his summers in Vermont, a place that held a special spot in his heart.
Charles leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his children, Gary Chasser and his wife Christine, Edward Chasser, and Dawn Pica and her husband Anthony; and his treasured grandchildren, Emily Chasser, Alyssa Tuomi, Brandon Chasser, Erickson, Brooklynn, and Nathaniel Pica.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his connection to his hometown, and the joy he found in the places and people he loved most.
A private burial will take place at the family’s convenience
