Carmen (Malena) Florkoski

Carmen (Malena) Florkoski, 88, of Cromwell, wife of the late Francis A. Florkoski, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Autumn Lake in Cromwell.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie (Calza) Malena, Sr.

Carmen was born in Hartford where she grew up and attended Hartford Schools.  She lived most of her life in Cromwell.  Carmen worked at Edna C. Stevens School in Cromwell.

Carmen is survived by her brother Joseph Malena, Jr. and his wife Theresa of Berlin; a sister Mary Gionfriddo of East Hartford and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with her husband and parents, Carmen was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
