Burton Lloyd Larson

Burton Lloyd Larson, 91, of Windsor Locks, husband of the late Joan “Bunny” (Derenthal) Larson, passed away at home on March 14, 2025.  Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Oscar and Anna (Johnson) Larson.

Burt was a graduate of Middletown High School Class of 1951 and a graduate of the University of Hartford Class of 1972.  He served in the United States Air Force earning the rank of Sargeant.  Burt worked for Gerber Systems Corp for thirty-three years, retiring in 1998.

Burt is survived by his son, Kurt R. Larson of Somers; a grandchild Julianna J. Larson; a sister Phyllis M. Tribuzio of Glastonbury and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, Burt was predeceased by a brother Raymond E. Larson and two sisters, Olive L. Granstrand and Marjorie L. Way.
