Obituary

Brooke Charlyn (Yopp) Rich, 41, of Middletown, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in Middletown.  Born in Farmington, she was the daughter of Charlie and Cheryl (Yopp) Pope, Sr.  

Brooke lived in Middletown the majority of her life and was a member of Cross Street A.M.E. Zion Church.  She worked at Wesleyan University for thirteen years in the food service department for Bon Appétit.   Brooke was a very confident , sassy woman who was obsessed with different color lipstick and hair.  On any given day you could see Brooke with a different color hair and lips inspiring  her mood for the  day.  Family gatherings were very important to Brooke but her children where her life, heart and soul.  Along with her children and family, anyone who knew Brooke will remember her for her generosity, colorful appearance and personality and her kind heart.

Brooke is survived by a son, Andre Rich, Jr.; two daughters, Shuanè Rich and Nevaeh Rich; her grandmother, Annie Hunter; a sister, Nicole Green and two brothers, Charlie Pope and Ryan Yopp.
