Brian P. Michaud, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, after a long-time illness.  Born on October 18, 1966, Brian grew up in East Hampton, Connecticut and graduated from East Hampton High School before attending Roger Williams. He was the son of the late Deborah Durkin and Peter Michaud. 

Living in Cromwell, and later in Avon, Brian was an extremely thoughtful and giving person.  He was also very loyal to those who knew him and he lived life to the fullest.  In Brian's younger years, he was an exceptional athlete.  He found great pleasure in playing soccer, basketball and baseball - even playing soccer in college.  He was an avid Boston Red Sox and UConn Huskies fan - and enjoyed watching baseball and basketball games with family and friends.  He also found joy in providing for his family, the best he knew how. 

More than anything, he took great pride in, and is survived by his children: Nathan, Sophia, Grace, and Matthew.  Although not often said, he loved them unconditionally and was very proud of their accomplishments. He is also survived by his brother Mark Michaud, his wife Karen and nephew Gavin, and his sister, Jennifer and her husband Richard, along with his nephew and niece, William and Addison.
