Beverly Ann (Hanken) Parris

Beverly Ann Hanken Parris, 71, of Torrington, wife of the late Wallace W. Parris, passed away on January 13, 2026.  Born in Winsted, she was the daughter of the late John, Sr. and Caroline (Nelson) Hanken. 

Beverly grew up in Barkhamsted and raised her family in Winsted.  She enjoyed her cats, walking, music, knitting and most of all her grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her son Jerry A. Parris and his wife Jessica of New Hartford; three grandchildren, Cody, Kaylee and Eli Parris and two siblings, Dennis Hanken and Donna Hanken.

Along with her husband and parents, Beverly was predeceased by three siblings, Jay Hanken, John Hanken, III and Diane Hanken.
