Bernard Meisler, Jr. Obituary

Bernard Meisler, Jr., 69, of Middletown, CT, died December 21, 2024, at Middlesex Hospital.
Son of the late Ruby Meisler DeGiovanni and Bernard Meisler.  Survived by sisters Kim Hartzog (husband George Hartzog) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Cheryl Tuzzolino of Keswick, Virginia and a nephew David Hartzog.

Along with his parents, Bernie was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and David Meisler.
From an early age Bernie was captivated by electronics.  He began his 40 year career at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in instrumentation and control.  His passion for programming lead him to writing programs for the sophisticated machines at Pratt and Whitney with emphasis on safety.
His love for life included his family, and friends. His motorcycle was his second love. On a beautiful Connecticut day Bernie would ride his motorcycle on the open road with friends or solo. Bernie was a gift to us.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27th at 12:00 pm at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.  A burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  Family and friends may call on Friday morning from 11:00am to 12:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernie’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  To share memories or send condolence to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
