He was born on April 2, 1957 in Hertford Co., NC to the late James Edward Jacobs and Margaret Louise Hoggard Jacobs. He was a self-employed mechanic. He leaves to cherish his memories, son, Dedrick of Middletown, CT; one sister, Faye Jacobs Riddick (James) of Ahoskie; two brothers, James Earl Jacobs of Cofield, NC and Grady Lee Jacobs (Marlene) of Middletown, CT; one grandson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
