Bernard F. Fabian

Bernard F. Fabian, son of late Bess and Cy Fabian passed away peacefully on January 18, 2023 surrounded by his family and with his wife Veta of 58 years standing by his side.

Bernard was born on March 20, 1941, in Middletown, CT. He graduated from Babson College in 1961. During his time at college, he met his loving wife at a college mixer and the rest is history.

Bernard went on to have a successful insurance business, Fabian Associates, where he impacted many people with his kind and friendly ways, and he was well known in the motorcycle community for decades.

Bernard always had a smile on his face and greeted you with kindness no matter what he was going through. During his more active days, he was an avid tennis and golf player. He loved watching the Red Sox and UConn womens basketball. He was also a member of the Exchange Club.

Bernard was a family man. He loved his family and would do anything for them. His family meant everything to him. He is survived not only by his wife Veta, but his children and their spouses, David and Renee Fabian and Michelle and Sean McNickle and his grandkids Abigail, Peter, and Sarah. He also leaves behind a brother, Leonard Fabian and sister-in-law, Maria Fabian.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue, 8 Broad Street, Middletown. Burial will follow in Adath Israel Cemetery, 714 Pine Street, Middletown.
