Beatrice Earlene (Allston) Stallings, 77, of Middletown, passed away at home on Friday, October 21, 2022 surrounded by family. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Earl Baker and the late Minnie B. (Allston) Williams and was a descendent of the Wangunk Tribe.
Beatrice lived in Middletown all of her life and was a member of Cross Street A.M.E. Zion Church. She was employed at Middletown High School for ten years, the City of Middletown for several years and a bartender at Mac’s Safari Café for many years. Beatrice loved listening to jazz music and spending time with family who were most important in her life.
She is survived by two daughters, Carmen D. Ready and Tami C. Ready Stuckey, both of Middletown; a sister, Barbara C. Chisem of Middletown; three grandchildren, Shanae, Tiana and Ariana; five great grandchildren, Zakhi, Aniyah, Elijah, Zaya and LaQuan, Jr.; dear friend Patricia Warmsley of Middletown; sister-in-law Roxanne Ready of South Carolina and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1st at 11:00 am at Cross Street A.M.E. Zion Church, 440 West Street, Middletown. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
