Angela Maria Basile

Angela Maria Basile, 84, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Hartford Hospital.  Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Ida (Carvarra) Basile.

Angela was a member of Cross Street AME Zion Church in Middletown.  She was employed by Heublein Inc. in Hartford from where she retired after working for over twenty years.  Angela loved music, bowling, writing poetry and going to Mohegan Sun.

Angela is survived by a niece Dorinna M. Fiamma, grand nephew Alvin Mann, great grand nieces, Lailah Mann, Jada Mann and Chardonnay Mann and a great grand nephew, Jhailin Mann.

Along with her parents, Angela was predeceased by her sister Anita Basile Morano.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 10:00 am at Cross Street AME Zion Church, 440 West Street, Middletown.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Angela’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
