Agnes (Hrino) Girosky
Durham, Connecticut
It is with profound sadness that the family of Agnes Girosky announces, her peaceful passing on October 1, 2025, at the age of 95. Agnes was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania on June 5, 1930, but lived the majority of her life in Bridgeport and Durham CT.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and cherished friend to many.
She loved to sew but crocheting was her passion. Over the years she crocheted many afghans, Christmas stockings, baby buntings, scarfs, etc.
Everyone seemed to know someone who had a crocheted item from Agnes and treasured it. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.
Her home was always filled with warmth. Agnes cherished every moment with her family.

She is survived by her son, Michael Girosky, his wife, Karen of Durham, CT and her two grandsons, Christopher Girosky of Charleston, South, Carolina and Matthew Girosky of Durham, CT and several nieces and nephews.
