Adam Odell Jackson

Adam Odell Jackson, born in Middletown, CT, on November 20, 1962, to the late Leroy and Maybell (Pressley) Jackson, was called to his eternal rest on June 15, 2024.

Adam graduated from Portland High School and later spent three years in the Army Infantry (Germany).  He loved sports and played basketball. Adam worked as a Security Guard with Allied Universal.

Adam and Janice (Nero) Jackson created a family together and leaves to cherish his fun and loving memories with his only daughter, Sadiyah Jackson of Wesley Chapel, Florida.

Adam is the youngest of ten siblings and is survived by his brothers, David (Barbara) Jackson of Waterbury, Albert (Suanne) Jackson of East Hampton and Walter Jackson of Portland; his sister Joyce Ann Purvis of Meriden and his best friend Al Smith of Aliquippa, PA and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Adam will be truly missed.

Family and friends may call on Monday, June 24th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.  A graveside service will follow in the State Veteran Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown where full military honors will be accorded.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
