Ada Ruth (Johnson) Hugee

Ada Ruth (Johnson) Hugee, 83, of Middletown, wife of the late Willie C. Hugee, passed away on November 7, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital.  Born in Millen, GA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ola (Solomon) Johnson.

Ada lived in Middletown most of her life.  She was a member of The House of God in Middletown where she was very active in many capacities.  Ada was known for her sweet potato pies.  Ada loved her family and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by a son, James E. Johnson and his wife Carolyn of Millen, GA; a daughter Christine Hugee of Middletown; two grandchildren, Christina Johnson and Christopher Johnson and three great grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased her son, Robert Wright and her daughter, Willie Mae Hugee.      

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14th at 11:00 am at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  Family and friends may call on Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
