Willie Lee Harrison

Willie Lee Harrison, 89, of Middletown, husband of the late Alene (Davis) Harrison, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Middlesex Hospital.  Born in Conway, SC, he was the son of the late Nelson and Roxie (Sealy) Harrison.

Willie was one of the pioneers of the House of God Church in Middletown where he served on the Trustee Board, Deacon Board, Usher Board, President of Pastor Aide, a Ward Leader, a member of the Senior Choir and Male Chorus.  Willie was the past owner of Harrison Lunch in Middletown for almost ten years and worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for over twenty-five years.

Willie is survived by his daughter, Linda Ross (Ricky) of Middletown; a sister, Gladys Green of Conway, SC; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Along with his wife and parents, Willie was predeceased by four sons, Willie (Buddy), Mack, Wilson (Bird) Harrison from Middletown and Stoney Hugee from New York and two sisters, Geneva Wilson and Tee-Ethel Spain from Conway, SC.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 3 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at House of God Church, 217 East Main Street, Middletown with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
