William Kendall Pitkin, 66, of East Hampton, passed away on August 11, 2019 at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Middletown, he was the son of Beverly (Marthers) Pitkin of East Hampton and the late Robert P. Pitkin, Sr.
Billy had lived in East Hampton for twenty years. He enjoyed hiking, gardening, kayaking, kite flying and hot air balloon festivals.
Along with his mother, Billy is survived by five siblings, Bonnie J. Pitkin Goodrich (Charles) of East Hampton, Bruce V. Pitkin (Karen) of Bozrah, Beth A. Pitkin Rhines (John) of Danby, Vermont, Barbara S. Schenarts (David) of Moodus, and Belinda J. Pitkin of Ladson, South Carolina; longtime companion, Karen Hubner and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his father, Billy was predeceased by his brother, Robert P. Pitkin, Jr.
