Suzanne Bristol

Suzanne Bristol, 71, of Durham, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Middlesex Hospital.  Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Luzerne and Dorothy (Bailey) Bristol.

Suzanne graduated Durham High School Class of 1965 and was a lifelong resident of Durham. She was employed at Bell Telephone for many years before retiring in 1995.
Suzanne is survived by her sister, Virginia Bristol and her husband, Christopher Ivy of Durham, NC; a niece, Eleanor Ivy of Wilmington, NC and a great niece, Georgia Bailey Simmons of Wilmington, NC.

Along with her parents, Suzanne was predeceased by her longtime companion, Bill Crawford.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 1 at 10:00 am in Mica Hill Cemetery, Mica Hill Road, Durham.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Suzanne's memory may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 50 Emmanuel Church Road, Killingworth, CT 06419 or C.A.T.A.L.E.S., Inc., P.O.
