Robert Carr

Robert Carr, 54, of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2018 at his home.  Born in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late William Carr and the late Hazel Horton.

Rob lived in Hollis Queens, NY most of his life moving to Middletown six years ago.  He was employed at Connecticut Valley Hospital for six years and Belmont Race Track for twelve years.  Rob had a giving heart and would help anyone anytime.  Rob loved his family and was a good and loving father.

Rob is survived by his daughter, Aubrey J. Carr of Middletown; two brothers, William “Swain” Carr, Jr. of Richmond, VA and Percy Carr of Middletown; two sisters, Iva Regina Goode of the Poconos, PA and Shirley Ruth Brockers of Middletown and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8th at 11:00 am at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Family and friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Doolittle Funeral Home.  Repast will be held immediately following the service at the Saint John Lodge #2, Masonic Temple, 33 Pleasant Street, Middletown.  To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
