Pauline Brown Obituary

Pauline Ann (Biernacki) Brown, 95, of Middletown, wife of the late Fletcher H. Brown, Jr., passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Wadsworth Glen.  Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Pauline (Shopinski) Biernacki.

Pauline lived in Middletown since 1953 where she was a volunteer and a member of Saint Pius X Church.  She worked as a secretary in the Agricultural Department in Washington, D.C.  Pauline loved to shop and was an avid bargain finder.

Pauline is survived by her son, Fletcher H. Brown, III and his wife, JoAnn of North Port, FL; two daughters, Patricia Tarigo and her husband, Robert of Southington and Paula Craig of North Providence, RI; a sister, Caroline Casterline of South Windsor; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, Pauline was predeceased by five siblings, Dr. John Biernacki, Edward Biernacki, Joseph Biernacki, Stephen Biernacki and Dorothy Gabala.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 7 at 10:00 am at Saint Pius X Church.  Burial will follow in the State Veterans’ Cemetery.
