Marion Brown (Branche) Reed

Marion (Branche) Reed, 101, of Middletown and formerly of Sharon, wife of the late Millard “Bud” Orson Reed, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Middlesex Hospital.  Born in Lakeville, CT, she was the daughter of the late William and Ora (Brown) Branche.

Marion lived in Sharon, Connecticut where she was a member of Sharon Methodist Church before moving to Middletown in 2009.  She was a hospice volunteer for many years.  Marion loved her home and gardening and was a very outgoing and an instant friend to everyone she met.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Patricia Murray of Middletown; two grandchildren, Joy Murray and Jay Murray and his wife, Georgia; two great grandchildren, Taylor Reed Murray and Summer Rose Murray and several nieces and nephews.
