Judith Alice (Clark) Niedzial, 75, of Meriden, wife of the late Carl J. Niedzial, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Midstate Medical Center. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Whybert and Juliana (Chalany) Clark.
Judy lived in Meriden since 1988 and was a member of Saint Pius X Church in Middletown. She graduated Nasson College with a BA in English. She served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict in the Hospital Corps Wave stationed in New Brunswick, Maine. Judy was a teacher in the Wallingford School System and was employed at Suzio York Hill for many years before her retirement.
Judy is survived by three sons, Richard Pelletier and his wife, Lisa of Meriden, Rodney Pelletier and his wife, Melissa of Meriden and Randall Pelletier and his wife, Kerry of Cheshire; six grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, Alexandra, Paige, Joshua and Morgan; and her brother-in-law, Edward Grzybowski of Chester and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Judy was predeceased by a son, Robert Pelletier and her sister, Diana Grzybowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 23 at 11:00 am at Saint Pius X Church, 310 Westfield Street, Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Family and friends may call on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.
