Jeffrey Matthew Parham Sr., 51 years, of Middletown, CT, beloved husband of Asma (Virgile) Parham, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 1, 2019 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut. Jeffrey was born on July 1, 1968 in Stamford, Connecticut to Isabella (Joyner) Cobb of Stamford, Connecticut and predeceased father Leroy Burris of North Carolina.  He was the seventh of eight children. He graduated from Beckham Academy and served in the United States Navy for ten plus years. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Yankees and Boston Celtics. He loved to cook and spend time with his loved ones. He had a warm, bubbly personality and everyone always knew they were welcome in his home. He enjoyed the simpler things in life; like dancing with his daughter and shooting hoops with his young son. He strengthened and supported his family through his laughter and comforting hugs. He loved to take long car rides and enjoy the scenario with his wife and children. He enjoyed teaching his children on nature and wildlife, along with frequent visits to a zoo’s and aquariums in various states and cities.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Asma Parham, two sons, Jeffrey Matthew Parham Jr. of Chicago, Illinois and Jeremy Matthew Parham of Middletown, Connecticut; three daughters, Kiara Michelle Parham of Utah, Amayah Marie Parham of Middletown, Connecticut and Regina Thomas of Minnesota; three sisters, Trenia Baker of New York, Twanda Parham and Yolanda Parham of Connecticut ; three brothers, Isaac Parham, Vincent Parham and Chris Parham of Connecticut and many loving nephews, nieces and relatives.

Jeffrey was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Parham of Connecticut.

Funeral services will be private and the convenience of the family.
