Heriberto Perez Sosa

Heriberto Perez Sosa, 93, of Cromwell, husband of Carmen R. Madera Perez for thirty-five years, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital.  Born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, he was the son of the late Sara Perez.

Heriberto enjoyed fishing, bowling and gardening.  He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly.  Heriberto was loved by everyone and will be remembered as always having a smile on his face.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Herbert M. Perez of Seattle, WA and Hector M. Torres of Cromwell; six daughters, Maria E. Rosario of Hartford, Nancy M. Marcano of Newington, Paulina Rodriguez of Stafford Springs, Maria E. Rosado of Newington, Reina M. Soto of Kissimmee, FL and Elisabeth Jarnot of Winter Haven, FL; thirty-one grandchildren, Angelica C. Ingrassia, Cierra R. Rodriguez, Christalynne M. Rosado, Kristen Rodriguez, Vanessa R. Soto, Zelida Madera, Joshua Veguilla, Anthony Ingrassia, LuísAntonio Rosado, Jeremy M. Rodriguez, Justin N. Rosado, Alexander R.  Soto, Jacob E. Rodriguez, Julian M. Rodriguez, Gabriel M. Soto, Benjamin Rodriguez, Izaís Rosado, Nathaniel D. Torres, Corbin N. Jarnot, Andrew Marcano, Melissa Marcano, Crystal Gonzalez, Elena Rosario, Ricardo Rosario, Arturo Madera, Josue Madera, Daniel Madera, Jonathan Madera, Maria E. Madera, Zachery Madera and Ryan Madera and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 9:00 am at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
