Helen Louise (Jones) Weston

Helen Louise (Jones) Weston, 84, of Cromwell, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Apple Rehab in Cromwell.  Born in Live Oak, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Luada (Cook) Jones.

Helen was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Middletown and graduated from Middlesex Community College in 1978. She was a member of the Federation for the Blind and of CSEA, Chapter #406.  Helen was a very generous person, loved gardening and enjoyed cooking specializing in macaroni and cheese and collard greens.  Above all, Helen loved being with her family and friends.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Patricia Weston of Cromwell and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Fredrick T. Weston and nine siblings.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 2 at 11:00 am in Pine Grove Cemetery, 857 South Main Street, Middletown with Bishop W.
