Gregory Donald Hartley

Gregory Donald Hartley, 69, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Hartford Hospital.  Born in Caribou, Maine, he was the son of the late Thomas and Edna (Jandreau) Hartley.

Greg graduated Rocky Hill High School, Class of 1969 and was a member of Saint James Roman Catholic Church in Rocky Hill.  He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving in the Vietnam War and was a member of Rocky Hill VFW Post # 2138.  Greg retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Manufacturing after more than thirty years.  Greg loved his grandchildren who were the pride and joy of his later years and sunshine of his life.

Greg is survived by his son, Daniel Hartley and his wife Tina of Middletown; his daughter, Erica Guerrini of Rocky Hill; three grandchildren, Jacob Hartley, Samuel Hartley and Brooklyn Guerrini; two brothers, Kenneth Hartley and his wife, Muriel of Caribou, ME and John Hartley of East Hartford; three sisters, Ruby Pelletier of Caribou, ME, Brenda Beaudet and her husband Bob of Montana and Feb Bureau and her husband Gil of Berlin and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Greg was predeceased by three brothers, Dale, Rod and Tom Hartley and a sister, June Dube.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 am in the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown where full military honors will be accorded.
