Florida “Flora” Cabical Gallagher, 68, of Middletown, loving wife of Kenneth W. Gallagher, passed away on April 12, 2018 with her family by her side at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Mandaluyong Rizal Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Valeriano and Carina (Dulay) Cabical, Sr.
Flora was a long time resident of Middletown and was a member of the Philippine American Women’s Association of Connecticut. She was known for her kind heart and wonderful smile that would brighten anyone’s day and a personality that warmed the hearts of everyone she met. Flora will truly be missed by countless people.
Along with her husband, Flora is survived by four sons, Erwin Palma of Middletown, Rodelo Palma of Philippines, Sonny Palma of Philippines and Charlie Gallagher of Middletown; a brother, Abraham Cabical of Philippines; four sisters, Julita Woolard of Middletown, Violeta Cabical, Evelyn Cabical and Myrna Cabical, all of Philippines and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23 at 11:00 am at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown. Burial will follow in the State Veterans’ Cemetery.
