Elizabeth "Betty" Tuttle (Hubbard) Knapp

Elizabeth “Betty” Tuttle (Hubbard) Knapp, 100, of Essex, wife of the late Alfred P. Knapp and the late Arthur B. Hubbard, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018.  Born in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late George and Lilla (Tuttle) Hubbard.

Betty was a member of South Congregational Church in Middletown.  She was employed at SNETCO as an operator and secretary for twenty-eight years.

Betty is survived by a niece, Elizabeth A. Hubbard of Sea Level, NC and a nephew, Michael G. Hubbard of Newington and several grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.

Along with her husbands and parents, Betty was predeceased by her brothers, Henry “Harry” Hubbard, II and George Hubbard.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 21 at 11:00 am at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.
