Dorothy Elizabeth (Donahue) Rustek

Dorothy Elizabeth (Donahue) Rustek, 89, of Portland, wife of the late Frank J. Rustek, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018.  Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Geisbrandt) Donahue.

Dorothy was a member of Saint Mary’s Church in Portland.  She loved shopping, cooking Sunday dinners, collecting many different things and spending holidays and time with family. Dorothy also donated much of her time and money to various charities.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Frank Rustek of Portland; her daughter, Marsha Sienna of East Hampton; two brothers, Alan Donahue of Georgia and Francis Donahue of Vermont; a sister, Isabelle Esteves of Portland; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Rustek; two brothers, Jack Donahue and Robert Donahue and a sister, Mildred Donahue.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4 at 11:00 am at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.  Burial will follow in the State Veterans’ Cemetery.
