Dolores Ann (Baran) Augeri, of Rockfall, beloved wife of Emanuel R. Augeri for sixty-two years, passed away on January 3, 2018 at Water’s Edge Center. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen (Sadowski) Baran.
Dolores was born in Meriden and attended the Meriden schools. Rockfall is where she lived most of her life. Dolores was a teaching assistant, and enjoyed working with children. She was a volunteer at the Middlefield Senior Center and a member and volunteer at the Durham Fair Association. Dolores was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking for others.
Along with her husband, Dolores is survived by her son, Robert E. Augeri of Middlefield; daughter Susan Perrotti and her husband, Kenneth of Middletown; brother, Robert Baran and his wife, Cathy of South Meriden and several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Besides her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her sister Mary Ann Wilderman and brother-in-law Lowry Wilderman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 7 at 11:00 am at Saint Pius X Church in Middletown. Burial will follow in Saint Sebastian’s Cemetery.
