Mr. Clarence Glenn, a former resident of Clayton, AL life expired on Sunday May 5, 2019 at his residence in Portland, CT. Born to the parentage of the late John Robert and Eula Pearl (Bennett) Glenn on November 21, 1944.
Cherished memories of Mr. Glenn will forever linger in the hearts of his wife Geraldine “Gerry” Glenn; his children, Inez Gwendolyn (John) Richardson, Reginald Michael (fiancee Patrice) Glenn, Kelly Charmaine Glenn and Vickie (Rev. Jerry) Chambers; his uncle Jerry Bennett; brothers and sisters, Roy (Pearline) Glenn, Robert (Janie) Glenn, Dorothy (Rev. Charles) Davis, Gwen (Larry) Jackson; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Doolittle Funeral Home of Middletown, CT will forward the remains of Mr. Glenn back to his hometown in Clayton, AL where services will be conducted.
Public viewing will begin Monday, May 13, 2019 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm in the chapel of Clayton Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Clayton, AL.
The Home Going Celebration will begin Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 12:00 pm noon in the sanctuary of the MT. Silla Baptist Church on Bud Gary Road, Clayton, AL, where Pastor Jerry Chambers will officiate and Pastor Charles Davis will be the eulogist.
