Beverly Ann (Synder) Taylor Bitgood

Beverly Ann (Synder) Taylor Bitgood, 83, of East Hartford, wife of Robert E. Bitgood, Sr., of 27 years passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at home.  Born in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Firm) Synder.

Beverly lived in East Hartford since 2001.  She worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Manufacturing for fifteen years and at a doctor’s office for twelve years.  Beverly enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with her family.

Beverly is survived by a son, Steven J. Taylor of Texas; two daughters, Sheryl A. Taylor of East Hartford and Lynda J. Yeske of Somers; two stepsons, Rodney Bitgood of Higganum and Robert E. Bitgood, Jr. of Essex; a brother, William Synder of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 18th at 10:00 am in Higganum Burr Cemetery, 793 Killingworth Road, Higganum.  Family and friends may call on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Beverly’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Boulevard, Southington, CT 06489-1058.
