Jay B. Doolittle - 4th generation, President and son of John D. Doolittle. Joined Doolittle’s in 1989 as a funeral director. He attended public schools in Middletown and Cromwell and graduated from Xavier High School in Middletown. After attending the University of Hartford and graduating from Lake City Community College in Lake City, FL with an Associate Degree in Golf Course Management, he graduated from the New England Institute of Mortuary Science in 1989. He assumed ownership of the family business in 2001, upon his father ‘s retirement. Family: Wife - Donna and three children. Organizations: member of the First United Methodist Church, Middletown, member of Cromwell Rotary Club, member of Cromwell Cemetery Association, and board of directors of Pine Grove Cemetery. He enjoys golf, snowmobiling, fishing, camping and is UConn basketball and New England Patriots fan. |

Burleigh R. Noyes – joined Doolittle’s in 1970 as a funeral director, graduating from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, OH. Family: Wife - Pat, three sons, and five grandchildren. Organizations: member of the Middletown Rotary Club and Middletown Power Squadron. He enjoys sailing, traveling, and woodworking. |

Heidi (Paulson) Abbott – joined Doolittle’s in 1984 as a funeral director and also went on to become an advance planning advisor. Lifelong Portland resident, attending public schools in Portland, and graduating in 1982 from Vinal Regional Vocational Technical School in Middletown. She then went on to the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, OH, graduating in 1984 with an associate degree in applied science. Family: Husband - Al. Organizations: active member of Christ Lutheran Church, Middletown. She enjoys her chow chows and sheltie, family, Swedish heritage, photography, gardening, genealogy and is an avid women’s basketball fan following UConn and WNBA CT Sun. |

Donna (Daniels) Doolittle - associate for many years with our funeral homes. She is a graduate of Mercy High School class of 1978 and Manchester Community College class of 1981. Family: husband - Jay, and three children. Organizations: member of the First United Methodist Church, where she is on the Pageant Committee, and member of the board of directors of Pine Grove Cemetery. She enjoys gardening, snowmobiling, golden retrievers, cross stitch, and is an avid sports fan. |

Craig A. Daniels -
attending mortuary college and working with our funeral home since 2006. He attended public schools in Cromwell, graduated from Cromwell High School in 1976, and studied Hotel and Food Service Management at Manchester Community College. Presently, he is pursuing an associate degree in funeral service at the American Academy McAllister Institute in New York. Family: wife -Linda, three daughters, and one grandson. Organizations: member of the First United Methodist Church, Middletown and Portland Lions Club. He enjoys golf, fishing, softball, and is an avid fan of all sports including UConn Basketball and Boston Red Sox. |

Stefany C. Mauri - associate for many years with our funeral homes and licensed funeral director since 1996. Higganum resident, graduate of Middlesex Community College with an associate degree, and graduate of Briarwood College with an associate degree in mortuary science. Family: husband- Steve, and three children. Organizations – member of St. Joseph Church, Meriden, and board member of the Haddam Cooperative Nursery School. She enjoys reading, sodoku puzzles, and especially spending time with her children. |

Donald H. Swanson, Sr. - associate for many years with our funeral homes. Lifelong Cromwell resident, graduate of Middletown High School, two years at University of Connecticut, two years in U.S. Naval Reserves and two years active duty. Family: wife – the late Barbara C. Swanson, three children, and four grandchildren. Active in Cromwell sports, recreation activities, director of Cromwell Grenadiers Fife and Drum Corps, 52 year active member of Cromwell Fire Dept. and chief from 1975-1984, member of board of fire commissioners of Cromwell for 22 years and secretary for 15 years, and member of St. John’s Church, Cromwell. |

| William C. Asci - associate for many years with our funeral homes. Family: Wife - Eleanor, one son, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Organizations: member of the Cromwell Lions Club. He enjoys woodcarving, oil painting and gardening. |

| Constance (Hughes) McBrien - organist with our funeral homes since 1947. She is a lifelong Portland resident. Family: Husband - William, five children, and six grandchildren. Organizations: life member of First Congregational Church, Portland, member of Portland River Valley Garden Club, Hemlock Grange, American Legion Auxillary Post #69, alumni of Connecticut College, organist for over 30 years at Haddam Neck Congregational Church and several other area churches. |
