Anna, as her friends and family called her, graduated from Middletown High School, and had earned her Master’s Degree at Southern Connecticut State University. With her husband and family, Anna enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially in Maine, where she and Bud had a “camp” called Windy Hill near their best friends Tony and Lil. Together the two couples enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and growing Christmas trees. Each year at Christmas, Anna made wreaths for many of her friends and family with pine boughs collected on their land in Maine.

Anna was also very active for many years in 4-H, serving as leader for many clubs over the years. For several years, Anna was in charge of the 4-H food booth at the Middlesex County 4-H Fair, aided by her children and grandchildren.
